| Projects The Conscious Art™ Movement is active in several areas of the art world. To get help on a project you have, obtain permission to use some products, or participate in a Conscious Art™ project, please use the Contact Us button to the left. Conscious Art™ Framework The Conscious Art™ Framework (CAF) is a set of criteria for evaluating artwork and developing curriculum in the areas of studio art and art appreciation. The CAF is ideal for implementing art curriculum into larger programs in order to ensure that art promotes self-awareness. It is also a framework for critiquing art that applies across disciplines, styles, media, and cultural tradition. It presents a clear differentiation in critique between art that adds value to the society and art that is non-cumulative. Conscious Art™ Exhibitions Along with the Web-Gallery, Conscious Art Exhibitions are available in travelling shows and as action-art events. These are arranged through the Conscious Art™ Movement, or directly with the member artists. Conscious Art™ Curriculum Conscious Art™ in curriculum integrates with other intellectual pursuits smoothly, allowing people to explore creatively and naturally rather than in compartmentalized activities. Students participating in art explore their ideas through various media and actively reflect on those ideas, and the process of learning and sharing ideas. Curriculum is available for academic programs in higher education and K- 12, as well as for non-academic settings. Special Interest Groups Some organizations form special interest groups around the CAF to promote open analysis of ideas, to provide criteria for evaluating art, or to inspire art along particular areas of interest. The Mission of Reason™ is one such organization, which uses CAF to promote the use of reason and open dialogue in the creation, use, and evaluation of art. |
