This 8 by 10” pen and ink piece has one main message:
“freedom through integration”. Basically speaking, there are all
these symbols in the butterfly wings that represent all our
experiences here on earth. All these experiences are part of
one and the same( that’s why they are all part of the 1
butterfly). There are polarities, the animal kingdom, the human
kingdom, televisions and stoplights (automatic or sleeping
states), states of addiction, extraterrestrial states, dancing,
materially cool states, ego driven states, etc…Behind the
butterfly, there’s two mountain top people with nipples. This
represents the human-earth connection. Every action, every
word, everything you do, affects other human beings…we are
all part of one big butterfly earth.
