The Structure of Belief

This Exhibition at the University of Florida shows St. Stephen in the
middle with rocks on his body and impeding the viewers path.  
Overhead are three boulders suspended by heavy chain to help
elicit a harmonic emotion to St. Stephen in his peril.  Rocks in
modern society are not often experienced with the deadly force
known in tribal cultures.  

Over the door can be seen God, acting as gatekeeper for the
exhibition.  "This is not a Crucifix" is hanging over a small altar, easily
walked around as if it were an anatomical specimin on display.
