Shrine Worker

The shrine worker was taking a break from branding walking
sticks and talked with me for a while about my climb and how he
enjoyed working at the top of the mountain.  Many of the young
workers on Fuji are there because it is an exotic summer job,
others are from local families that have run the shrines and way
stations for generations.
